Organic Soil

Making organic soil at home isn’t as simple as sterilizing your mix. There are substances you have to avoid when creating an organic soil, so it’s important to do a little bit of research before jumping in. I’ve done a bit of research myself and found a recipe I plan to use and I’ll share it with you, but first I want to share some of the benefits of organic gardening.

Organic soil can greatly improve the quality of your garden, and the environment.

Produce grown in organic soil tastes more fresh, you haven’t enjoyed a real tomato until you’ve taken a bite of a ripe pure red delicious organic tomato. i’ve compared them both, and I have to say, it’s the absolute truth. Organic produce is also healthier. No pesticides, additives, chemicals of any kind. Organic soil  matter reduces erosion, conserves water, and feeds plants in time with their needs and avoids excesses.

Organic Potting Soil:

You”ll need:

  1. Collect your organic potting soil ingredients.including coco fiber, expanded shale, organic compost or earthworm castings, and wheat bran
  2. Place equal parts of the organic potting soil ingredients into the container.
  3. Mix ingredients together until thoroughly incorporated.

Make  your own soil it’s cheaper, more productive and makes for a much more beautiful garden. I simply can not wait until I can get this project going. I think I’ve decided what I want to grow..
